Youth Climate Pitch

‘Youth Climate Pitch’ is a competition to promote the exchange of ideas on topics central to EU – Indonesia’s collaboration on green transition. Five winners will obtain an opportunity to have a paid internship in companies and EU-funded projects in Indonesia, to learn and contribute to sustainability and climate issues.

How to participate

You can enter the competition by either:

Writing an essay of 500 – 1000 words, or
Creating a video essay of 1 – 3 minutes

Who can participate?

Indonesian university students (undergraduate and graduate) in Indonesia or abroad;
17-25 years old
Passionate about climate and environmental issues
Must be able to present your idea on 23 September 2022 (in person in Jakarta or via Zoom)

Requirements

Written or video essays should be in either Indonesian or English (choose one).
Idea formulation must be guided by the EU Green Deal (brief reference: EU Green Deal brochure).
No plagiarism. Use your original content, and credit your sources of information in the essay (bibliography) and the video.
Group submission is not eligible.
Each participant is only allowed to submit 1 written essay or 1 video essay.
